Lindsay Domenico – Director of Pharmacy Operations

Lindsay Domenico, PharmD, is Kernersville’s Director of Pharmacy Operations. She joined the Southern Pharmacy team in 2011 overseeing the Order Entry department, directing workflow, developing processes and functioning as a liaison between different pharmacy departments and customers. She is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, NY and moved to North Carolina in 2004. Her career as a pharmacist has included retail pharmacy and acute care in a hospital setting before specializing in long-term care pharmacy.

cecil-davisCecil Davis – Director of Clinical Services

Kernersville’s Director of Clinical Services, Cecil Davis, PharmD. has worked in long-term care in North Carolina since 1996. He is responsible Kernersville’s outside pharmacist and nursing consultant teams. Cecil also oversees the Quality Assurance Program for Kernersville. His focus is ensuring that our customers have a consistent experience that exceeds their expectations. He is married to Christy and they have four daughters.

Dwayne Greeson – Director Finance and Administration

Dwayne Greeson is Kernersville’s Director of Finance and Administration.  He attended High Point University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration.  He has been a part of the Southern Pharmacy family since late 2019.  He started his healthcare career in 1995 working for small hospital and left a larger hospital system to join the Southern Pharmacy team. His day-to-day focus is on the management of the Billing and HR functions combined with the management of the company’s finances.

Sherry O’Connor – Pharmacist Lead

Sherry O’Connor is Kernersville’s Pharmacist-in-Charge. She holds a BS in Animal Science from NC State University and a BS in Pharmacy from UNC Chapel Hill. Sherry has over 17 years long term care pharmacy experience and has been with Southern Pharmacy since 2013. As our lead pharmacist, Sherry oversees all areas of the fulfillment operation, including our staff of in-house pharmacists and technicians whose primary focus is filling orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Candace Dufour – Consultant Pharmacist Lead

Candace Dufour, PharmD, graduated from Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy, in Winchester, VA in 2005. She has been at Southern Pharmacy since 2010. She started with Southern by working remotely as a staff pharmacist for the Pink Hill location then transitioned to the Kernersville location as it quickly grew. She then transitioned to the position of Consultant Pharmacist. As a Consultant Pharmacist, she works with the facility’s staff and Physicians on the clinical aspects of the residents’ care and help provide customer service to our facilities.

Jamie Sumpter – Nursing Team Lead

Jamie Sumpter BSN, RN, MBA, the Kernersville nursing team lead, has varied experience from hospital operating room nursing to home care and assisted living. Before joining Southern Pharmacy, she was a resident care director for an assisted living facility and nursing assistant instructor. Jamie oversees the Southern Pharmacy Nurse Account Managers and QA staff based in Kernersville and assists with maintaining the eLearning site. The entire clinical team strives to provide quality nursing services to all SPS customers. Jamie lives in Hickory with her daughter. Daniel Caudle – Billing Manager

Daniel Caudle, Kernersville’s Billing Manager, spent 9 years in retail pharmacy with CVS Pharmacy as inventory manager and lead technician. He also spent 3 years working with a hospice pharmacy benefit management company, AvaCare, where he facilitated hospice enrollee pharmacy benefits. Daniel has been with Southern Pharmacy since June of 2013 joining us as Billing Supervisor.

Karen Bowers – Skilled Billing Supervisor

Karen Bowers is the Supervisor of the Skilled Billing Department in
 Kernersville. She is responsible for the management and oversight
of all admissions and billing for our skilled facilities in western North Carolina. She came to SPS in 2016 and continues to provide excellent customer service and go the extra mile every day. Karen has over 25 years of billing and supervisory experience in both medical office and hospital billing. Just prior to joining SPS she was a Business Office Manager in a Skilled Nursing facility and brings that knowledge and experience to her department.

Pamela Williams – Customer Service Manager

Customer Service Manager (Western North Carolina). Pamela is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She attended Winston Salem State University. She began her career in the long term care industry in 1995. Pamela had been with Southern Pharmacy Service since the opening of the Kernersville office in 2008. She has worked as the cycle fill coordinator, IV technician, medical records administrator until 2013 where she transition to being a part of the eMAR team. In this position, she traveled the state of North Carolina installing and training facilities how to incorporate electronic medical records. She then transferred to her current position on the Sales and Marketing team as a Customer Service Manager. Jami Patrick – Human Resources Specialist

A native of Brown Summit, NC, Jami Patrick is our HR Specialist. She is graduate of Guilford College with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Human Resources. She has been with the pharmacy since 2015. Her day to day focus is to support the operations of the pharmacy in the areas of human resource management, including benefit communication and administration, new hire onboarding and recruiting. Additionally, she coordinates the production of our annual Customer Celebration and Educational event for all three pharmacy locations as well as numerous other pharmacy events.

Emily Mungania – Purchasing Manager

Emily Mungania is our purchasing manager for our Kernersville location. Emily is originally from Kenya. She joined Southern Pharmacy in December of 2013 as a fulfillment tech. In 2018 she transitioned to the purchaser role. Emily’s focus is to maintain inventory of thousands of items in the pharmacy so that we can fulfill our customer’s needs.
