The Southern Pharmacy Services location in Pink Hill, North Carolina has started construction of a new building to better serve the pharmacy’s customer facilities. The 12,000 square foot building, along with a remodel of the existing building, will provide new locations for the fulfillment and inventory departments, new offices, a new call center and an overall modernization of the pharmacy. The building is being constructed beside the existing pharmacy.
“The need for the new building reflects our past, current and projected growth patterns,” said Glenn Whitley, Pink Hill’s director of pharmacy. “The additional space will allow us to move forward as more facilities and employees join the Southern family.”
The work is expected to be completed this fall. Whitley added, “We are all looking forward to this new chapter of Southern’s operation. Our future depends on growth and Pink Hill is certainly growing!”
