Last week, some of our Southern Pharmacy team members from Kernersville, North Carolina, attended the 2022 Yadkin Valley Friends of UMAR Luncheon at Maple Springs United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem.
The annual event brings together donors and supporters of UMAR’s vital services and programs.
UMAR is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting community inclusion, independence and growth for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential, vocational and cultural enrichment opportunities.
“We look forward to this event every year to support our community and recognize the important work UMAR does,” said Southern Pharmacy’s President Marybeth Terry.
Our team enjoyed the event, and some members were able to purchase unique art pieces created by UMAR’s very own residents for a good cause.
