Once again, Southern Pharmacy’s three locations opened their doors to customer facility staff as they all celebrated Open House Afternoon this past September. The annual event held in Kernersville, NC, Wytheville, VA, and Pink Hill, NC, is a time for fun, fellowship and food.
This year’s theme was a “Western Roundup” and the decorations, music and barbeque lunch all added to the festive atmosphere. “The folks at our three pharmacies look forward to our open house events,” said Jami Curry, the event coordinator who led the production teams. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for the pharmacy staff to express their show appreciation for our customers while meeting them face-to-face, hosting pharmacy tours and enjoying lunch together.”
Other community events in which Southern participated include:
- An 11-mile hike to support Gaston Residential Services, one of our multi-location customer facilities. Hikers were: Lakeena Frazier, Taylor Tedder, Vanny Bunna, Kriss Kpor, Phally Sam, Alesia Branning, Jami Curry and Nikelle Washington
- The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Southern will be one of over a thousand teams participating in a Western Carolina regional event on Oct. 29, 2016
