Each of the three locations of Southern Pharmacy held its annual Christmas party in mid-December and each party had special treats for Southern’s employee guests.
The Kernersville, NC employees enjoyed a repeat visit from the “Bells of Inspiration,” the regional UMAR group homes residents’ hand bell choir. The talented musicians performed a medley of Christmas carols that the audience thoroughly enjoyed, giving the performers a standing ovation. The after-dinner “Ugly Sweater Contest” demonstrated the creativity (and bad taste) of a few brave employees.
The party held at Southern’s Wytheville, VA location featured a delicious lunch and some pretty fabulous door prizes including laptop computers and a flat-screen television.
Pink Hill, NC’s pre-dinner games set the fun atmosphere but the real entertainment came after dinner in the form of Christmas Carol Karaoke. A number of Pink Hill employees showed that they had what it takes to bring smiles to the crowd with holiday music.
In addition to hosting each party, Southern management gave each employee a fleece vest embroidered with the company logo. Once again, Southern Pharmacy had three enjoyable events to celebrate another successful year with the people who made the success possible.
