Tim PenningtonDirector of Finance and Administration

Tim Pennington is the Director of Finance and Administration for Southern Pharmacy Services’ Virginia location. Tim joined Southern in February of 2017 and manages billing, human resources and finance for the pharmacy. He has over 20 years of experience in financial and cost accounting, mergers and acquisitions, cash management, project management, HR and IT primarily for manufacturing companies. Becki Gravley – Customer Service Account Manager

Becki Gravley is the customer service account manager for Wytheville. Becki joined Southern Pharmacy in January of 2018. She has been in the medical field for over 20 years and a nurse for over 16 years. She builds relationships to understand the preference of each account and coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure excellent service from the point of receiving orders through delivery. Becki gives a dedicated point of access to help clients receive high quality personalized service and works closely with sales to ensure smooth transitions and support set up with on-boarding activities for new customers. “I embrace our pharmacy’s core values and hope that others can see them in me.” She lives in Wytheville, VA with her husband and daughter. She loves to travel, attend sports events, and enjoy the great outdoors with her family and friends.

Virginia “Chris” Butler – Consultant Nurse

Chris Butler, Wytheville’s consultant nurse, has over 30 years of nursing experience in both acute and long-term care. In addition, she has also been responsible for staff development/training/education as well as community outreach. Before joining Southern Pharmacy, Chris was the Admission Director at a large skilled nursing facility. This experience has enabled her to build and maintain relationships with a multitude of regional healthcare providers and facilities. She is committed to ensuring positive experiences for both residents and their family.

Michael Hayter – Consultant Pharmacist

Our consultant pharmacist for Wytheville, Michael Hayter, PharmD, is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. He has many years of pharmacy experience in both acute and long term care. In his role as consultant pharmacist, Michael makes scheduled visits to our facilities to conduct Medication Regimen Reviews following state and federal regulations. Cynthia Thomas, our Purchasing Manager for Wytheville, has worked over 25 years in the pharmacy industry in a variety of roles.
